Bitterroot River

The drive north to Montana was spectacular. I was afraid of running the van off a precipice trying to take in all scenery. It’s Lewis & Clark, Nez Perce, and Idaho Hermit territory (the hermit was a guy who lived for over 50 years with his goats in caves he dug out). Found a great campsite just south of Missoula along the Bitterroot River. I was going to explore Missoula but after I set up my chair and popped open a beer I decided exploration can wait until tomorrow.
